E.J. MacEwan joined Pan Pacific Hotels Group as General Manager of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka from 1997 to 1999, a post which he returned to in 2009 after successful terms as General Manager of Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur and Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta.
