Sega brings a wealth of experience to the hotel, having served as General Manager with Marriott, Sheraton and Hilton brands as well as independent resorts such as South Seas Resort in Captiva Island FL and several other resorts in Florida and the Caribbean. A 30-year hospitality veteran, Sega has distinguished himself as an effective team builder and has primarily focused on hotel transitions and expansions.

Tim Bugas has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Bugas will oversee sales, marketing, convention services and revenue management for the historic luxury resort and spa in the Allegheny Mountain region of south-central Pennsylvania.Bugas arrives in Bedford Springs from the Primland Resort in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, where he was opening Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Bugas spent seven years at the Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company, serving as Managing Director of Resort Sales for four years before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2004. Prior to joining Hershey, Bugas worked as Director of Sales at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. He also served as Director of Sales at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia, early in his career. Bugas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Adrian Gonzalez has been appointed as Director of Operations at The Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Gonzalez joined the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa following three years in management at Destination Hotels & Resorts. Most recently he was Hotel Operations Consultant at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington, and before that he was Hotel Manager and Director of Food & Beverage at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon. Previously, Gonzalez enjoyed a run with Starwood Hotels, including two years as Director of Food & Beverage for the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, and the remainder as F&B Director at properties throughout Mexico including Westin Regina Resort in Puerto Vallarta; Sheraton Acapulco Resort; Sheraton Ixtapa Resort; and Sheraton Cancun & Towers. Gonzalez also spent 10 years with Hilton Hotels, most notably as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Americas-Houston, as well as at Hilton in the WDW Resort in Orlando, Florida, and Hilton Newark Airport. He got his start in hospitality at Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers in Mexico City in 1982. A native of Mexico, Gonzalez earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Tourism Polytechnic University in Mexico City. He is quite passionate about wine and has been certified as a Wine Specialist by the Society of Wine Educators.

Erica Held has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Held will oversee convention group sales for New Jersey, New York, as well as the Eastern half of Pennsylvania with a focus on the Harrisburg and Philadelphia markets. Bringing a depth of hospitality to her new position, Held joined the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa from the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, where she spent the past three years as a Sales Manager for the Association, Government and Sports markets. Held also had a similar role at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh. A native of Pittsburgh, Held graduated from West Virginia University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.

Gregory T. Corvelle has been appointed as Assistant General Manager at The Inn at Pocono Manor

Gregory Corvelle was previously Rooms Division Manager for Lancaster Host Resort, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of the Front Office operations, as well as Hotel Security and the Housekeeping Department. Mr. Corvelle also served as Night Manager for the Lancaster Host Resort. His first professional position with the property was as Assistant Grounds Superintendent. Greg Corvelle attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, located in New Brunswick. While completing his education, he worked in all areas of Lancaster Host Resort, gaining valuable operational experience. He resides in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania.

Iman P. Butler has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton

Butler brings more than 15 years of hospitality expertise to the position. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia team, Butler was the director of sales and marketing at two of the brand’s other properties: The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, Calif. and The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va. During his tenure at these properties Butler instituted vast changes to increase hotel productivity and was recognized for numerous awards. Butler’s experience also includes more than seven years with Hilton Hotels Corporation, during which he worked in various sales and marketing roles. Butler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in hotel, restaurant and travel administration from the University of Massachusetts.

Lindsey Tellez has been named Executive Meetings Manager at Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square

Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square has named Lindsey Tellez as executive meetings manager. Her responsibilities include an emphasis on small corporate group meetings and food and beverage requirements for the 300-room hotel, part of an integrated facility with a total of 90,000 square feet of meeting space when combined with the convention center, both scheduled to open in Spring 2009. Tellez brings 10 years of hospitality experience to the position. Previously, Tellez worked at The Yorktowne Hotel in York, Pa., in positions such as executive meetings manager and catering sales manager. She currently resides in York.

Richard A. Brooks has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort

Omni Hotels has appointed Richard A. Brooks as director of sales and marketing of the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. The historic, circa-1796 resort re-opened in 2007 after a $120-million renovation and expansion and became part of Omni Hotels’ luxury portfolio on January 1, 2009. Located within a short drive from Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh, Penn., the resort sits on 2200 acres in the Allegheny foothills of south central Pennsylvania and has played host to 11 U.S. presidents. It was once considered the “Summer White House” of James Buchanan. Prior to joining Omni Hotel, Brooks served as director of sales and marketing at The Umstead Hotel & Spa, a 150-room luxury property in Cary, N.C. Brooks was responsible for all sales and marketing operations from pre-opening in January 2006 to October 2008. Brooks’ hospitality career also includes marketing and sales positions for Hilton, Westin and Walt Disney World Resorts. He graduated from Elon University with a degree in marketing.

Steven Goris has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at The Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square

With eight years of hospitality experience, Goris, of Vermilion, Ohio, most recently worked as assistant food and beverage director and director of the convention center operations at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky. He oversaw and managed the complex operations, marketing and sales for two restaurants, concessions, five bars, a nightclub and a convention center, which also includes 90,000 square feet of meeting space. Goris holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Toledo. Scheduled to open in Spring 2009, the Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square is operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the nation’s largest independent hotel management company.

Leonard S. Czarnecki has been appointed as General Manager at The Fairmont Pittsburgh

Prior to this position, Mr. Czarnecki was hotel manager at The Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston where he directed the operation of one of the city's most prominent hotels. While is Boston, he was active in the city's hospitality community as part of the Massachusetts Lodging Committee's Education Committee. And, Mr. Czarnecki directed the efforts of the Fairmont Copley Plaza's environmental committee. No stranger to landmark hotels, before his work in Boston, Mr. Czarnecki was hotel manager at The Plaza in New York. While in New York, Mr. Czarnecki also held management positions at The Regency, The Hilton New York, The Waldorf=Astoria and New York Renaissance Hotel. Mr. Czarnecki began his career as a rooms division intern at the Hyatt Regency Hilton Head in South Carolina. Mr. Czarnecki holds a degree is hotel and restaurant management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He will move to the Pittsburgh area with his wife and their three children.

Scott Stuckey has been named General Manager at Omni Bedford Springs Resort

Stuckey has been with Omni since 2005 where he previously served as general manager of the Omni Jacksonville Hotel. During his time in Jacksonville, he was president of the North Florida Hotel & Lodging Association, treasurer of Downtown Vision and chairman of Visit Jacksonville. He was also appointed by the mayor to the Convention Center Expansion Task Force. Under his leadership, Omni partnered with the Jacksonville Hospitality Institute (JHI) and was recently named “Advocate of the Year for 2008.” Prior to joining Omni Hotels, Stuckey held general manager positions at various Marriott Hotels. He graduated in 1988 from Wisconsin Stout with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
