Atlanta’s $112-million Hotel at Avalon to open in 2018
In the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia, the Hotel at Avalon will be the newest member of Marriott"s Autograph Collection when it opens in early 2018.
Managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, the $112-million 330-room hotel will anchor the 86-acre Avalon complex, which will have retail, dining and entertainment venues, as well as residences.
Atlanta-based architecture firm Cooper Carry is leading the design of the hotel. Perkins + Will is designing the hotel and conference center interiors. Meanwhile, the Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry is designing the hotel's F&B offerings, including the restaurant and bar.
