Drexelbrook Associates, owners of the award-winning Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening Celebration at the new 100-room Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites on May 30, 2019.

Located at 5400 Ferne Boulevard in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Philadelphia W Drexel Hill opened its doors to guests on May 11, 2019. The hotel is operating as an InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) franchise, owned by Drexelbrook Associates and managed by Prestige Hospitality Group of Albany, New York.

Representatives of IHG, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County Council, Destination Delco, and the Delaware Country Chamber of Commerce joined Drexelbrook Associates at the celebratory event.

The new onsite Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites is the latest expansion of the Drexelbrook brand. The hotel features the new Holiday Inn H4 design solution, representing Happiness, Hospitality, Home and Holiday Inn - four key elements reflective of the Holiday Inn's distinctive experience. In addition, a major renovation program was recently completed at the Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center introducing a new stylish décor and upgraded amenities at the premier special event venue.

Over 200 guests attended the May 30th event which featured a formal ribbon cutting, tours of the Holiday Inn and Suites and the Drexelbrook Special Event Center, and a reception in the new hotel restaurant and lounge.
