Revitalizing an idyllic suburban locale, AC Hotels by Marriott® and Hersha Hospitality Management announce the highly-anticipated arrival of AC Hotel Pleasanton to Northern California's Tri-Valley. AC Hotel Pleasanton, formerly Sheraton Pleasanton, offers a thoughtfully-modern hotel following a more than $20-million comprehensive transformation which features 171-reimagined guest rooms, engaging communal spaces, and the debut of a new outdoor pool deck among the redesigned touches introduced to the property.

Created in collaboration with notable hospitality designer DLR Group Interiors, the property draws design inspiration from the destination's surrounding nature of verdant trees and notable vineyards. AC Hotel Pleasanton takes shape with clean, crisp lines of classic contemporary design. The interiors feature unexpected and inviting furnishings, from romantic linear lighting to custom mill work. Neutral, warm tones and wood mixed with elegant elements aim to energize guests and offer an inviting ambiance and unique sense of place. Curated by The Art Makery, the hotel offers moments of beauty with custom artwork installations by Christine Cassano and Scott Hile, which salute the destination's character, scenery and history.

Embracing AC Hotels' history and focus on purposeful design and sophisticated style, the modern hotel features minimalist guest rooms and suites with hardwood floors, sleek furnishings, exposed closet systems, and spacious, modishly designed bathrooms - providing guests with everything they need and nothing they don't. Wellness-minded travelers can take advantage of the industry-leading health and fitness studio with state-of-the-art equipment including Peloton indoor exercise bikes, which look beyond to the picturesque view of Mt. Diablo.

The property's communal spaces are thoughtfully designed for creativity and connection, offering cross-functional indoor and outdoor areas including a unique glass-enclosed meeting space that transitions to opaque at the touch of a button for added privacy. The pool deck opens up from the AC Library, which offers a quiet space with ambient lighting and transitional seating to linger and peruse the selection of inspiring titles that line the shelves, ranging from modern art to design. Throughout the hotel's harmonious spaces, intuitive service such as Kallpods (wireless service buttons) to better engage and meet the needs of guest requests, and signature amenities will encourage guests to work, explore, and socialize.

Exclusive food and beverage offerings are another highlight of the property, which features an open dining space. Guests can savor the day with a proper continental breakfast selection from the brand's signature AC Kitchen, where they can take their pick of flaky croissants, savory egg tarts, freshly sliced Iberico prosciutto, Nespresso coffee and a wide variety of European-inspired breakfast items to enjoy in the hotel or on-the-go. The hotel's Spanish roots further shine through in the AC Lounge, a buzzing meeting space by day and social hub by night.
