The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Former Terrace Hotel In Lakeland, Florida, Reopens As Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection By Hilton
Rebranding – 88 Rooms
The hotel opened its doors in 1924 as Lakeland's first grand hotel and high-rise building, and Florida's first year-round hotel due to the invention of air conditioning. The building was purchased and restored in 1999 after sitting empty for about a decade. The formerly named Terrace Hotel is now entering the next chapter of its illustrious history with its new ownership and management.
The design inspiration for the Terrace Hotel Lakeland's renovation takes cues from its flamboyant 1920s art deco history, the elegant lines of the royal family's swan descendants, as well as the lush gardens and vibrant hues of citrus groves nearby. All spaces will feature new finishes, local artworks, and a mix of eclectic furnishings tying together the local flora, fauna, and wildlife's color palette and textures. This elegant urban oasis will once again glorify its role as the historical treasure of Lakeland.
Upon entering the guestrooms and suites of The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, guests are greeted with old-world glamour that is classic and timeless. The hotel offers a variety of guest rooms and spacious suites with views of neighboring Lake Mirror. All guest rooms offer HDTVs, coffee makers, complimentary bathroom amenities, and Wi-Fi. The design brings the outside in, as guests experience the blooming landscape's elegance and calming colors of the surrounding lakes. Unique patterns throughout the rooms and baths give an unexpected twist to the swan, whose presence can be seen throughout the property and Lakeland.
