Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced plans to open new hotel on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, following an agreement with Westmont Hospitality Group and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. ("Oaktree"). Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton will open this summer. The propertie will be located in southern Sardinia at the Chia Laguna, renowned for its pristine nature, golden sandy beaches and coastline lagoons home to flocks of pink flamingos.

Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia joins more than 100 hand-picked Curio Collection hotels around the world, including recent openings in London, Porto and Paris. A hand-picked collection of upscale hotels, each Curio Collection property offer guests the spirit of an independent hotel or resort with unique design and guest amenities. Curio Collection allows travellers to immerse themselves in one-of-a-kind hotels that reflect their surroundings and local culture.

The property is an eco-conscious seafront hotel, surrounded by immaculate beaches and wildlife and its elevated waterfront location provides panoramic sea views as well as views of the entire Chia lagoon. Chia beaches have been voted the most beautiful beaches in the country by Legambiente, the most prominent environmental association in Italy.

The hotel is perfect for travellers seeking the intimacy of an independent hotel with the amenities of a resorts complex.
