Calampiso Resort
Castello Sgr acquires Calampiso Resort, near Palermo, Italy
Castello Sgr - leading company in the promotion and management of alternative investment products, primarily real estate - has completed, through one of the funds managed by the Hospitality Italian Infrastructure Platform (HIIP), the acquisition of Calampiso Resort, an hospitality property complex in the far western part of Sicily, between Trapani and Palermo, a short distance from the Zingaro Natural Reserve and San Vito Lo Capo.

The resort extends over 150,000 square meters and includes more than 250 apartments and rooms. The property boasts numerous facilities — including restaurants, swimming pools, sports fields, and a conference center—and directly overlooks the sea, nestled on a picturesque cliff with a stunning landscape.
The project involves a total investment of approximately €100 million, that will turn the resort into an ultra-luxury hospitality destination. The project includes a significant internal and external redevelopment, completed by a branding strategy in partnership with a leading international hotel operator. The property is scheduled to open to the public in 2029.
This investment, following those in Pognana Lario (Como) and Dolonne (Courmayeur) already made through the HIIP platform, represents the first in Sicily and strengthens Castello Sgr's strategy to focus on iconic locations with high tourism potential, with a sustainable and quality-oriented approach.
