Van der Valk Hotel Zwolle Opens New Luxury Wellness
On Friday, 27 March, Van der Valk Hotel Zwolle, part of Valk Exclusief, officially opens its new luxury wellness facilities. The wellness forms part of a major expansion project that has now been completed after two years. In addition to the new wellness, the hotel has added a second restaurant, six meeting rooms, and extra workspace for employees.

Located beneath the hotel’s distinctive pillars along the A28 near Zwolle, the new wellness offers hotel guests access to a swimming pool, four saunas, an experience shower, and a modern fitness area. The wellness also includes treatment rooms for massages and beauty treatments. Hotel Zwolle is currently seeking an external partner to provide these wellness services.
The opening of the wellness marks the completion of the hotel’s two-year construction project. The new meeting rooms were delivered and brought into use at the end of 2025. Earlier this month, the additional first-floor restaurant was completed and will welcome its first guests over Easter. Thanks to these expansions, Hotel Zwolle can now accommodate hundreds of additional guests for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, as well as for meetings and events. The former wellness area on the ninth floor will be redeveloped into new family rooms.
