Hutton Hotel, Nashville, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Hutton Hotel and Spa Debuts Bold Rebrand and Comprehensive Redesign, Ushering in a New Era for a Nashville Landmark

Hutton Hotel, Nashville’s original and award-winning boutique hotel announces the completion of a $40 million, multi–year renovation program ushering in a bold new era for the city icon. With immersive design, unexpected details, and a soul firmly rooted in Nashville’s creative landscape, the reimagined Hutton pulses with amplified energy, poised to once again become the backstage pass to Music City.

Spearheaded by New York-based interior design firm, AvroKO—an award-winning studio celebrated for crafting extraordinary hospitality environments worldwide—the renovation touches nearly every facet of the culturally-influenced property. From the updated lobby and social areas to refreshed guest rooms, the addition of a world-class spa & gym, and reinvented food and beverage venues, the reborn Hutton Hotel is fresh, chic, eclectic, and unapologetically stylish.

This next chapter extends far beyond the hotel’s walls, representing a complete repositioning of the Hutton brand. Every touchpoint has been meaningfully redefined—from guest-facing collateral and communications to modernized operating supplies and equipment, fashion-forward staff uniforms, and a discerning service philosophy. The rebrand also comes to life digitally with a newly launched website and visual identity that mirrors the property’s confident, authentic spirit. Together, these updates ensure that the Hutton standard is cohesive, refined, and closely connected to Nashville’s evolving landscape.

Owned by a joint venture led by The Georgetown Company, the Hutton represents far more than an investment. The family behind the hotel brings a multi-generational connection to hospitality, with a heritage linked to some of the most famed luxury properties in the country, such as The Carlyle in New York City and Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Having grown up steeped in the world of storied hotels characterized by attentive service, aesthetic integrity, and a strong sense of place, the family has approached the Hutton with similar passion—honoring classic hospitality while evolving it for a savvy audience. That legacy is woven throughout the property, most notably in Evelyn’s, the on-site restaurant named in tribute to Evelyn Sharp, the matriarch and celebrated 20th‑century hotelier, socialite, and art patron whose influence shaped the family’s love of hospitality.

Significant to this milestone renovation, the hotel will complete its renewal with a stunning 3,200 square-foot spa and fitness center, set to open in Spring 2026. Guests can expect a full-service facility, featuring private treatment rooms, a salon and barbershop, nail studio, high-performance fitness center, and vitality and recovery essentials—a sauna, salt room, cold plunge, and IV drips—along with in-room wellness offerings, all intentionally considered to help travelers and locals reset, restore, and recharge.

LOBBY TRANSFORMATION

The lobby has been revitalized into a warm, expressive, communal living room, evoking the residence of a meticulous collector, inviting guests to feel instantly at home. At its heart is the debut of a lobby bar, Mimi’s, a vibrant, all-day gathering place where morning coffee gives way to evening craft cocktails, setting the tone in an atmosphere built for conversation and connection. Alongside it, the Vinyl Listening Lounge features turntables and a handpicked record collection that celebrates Nashville’s musical roots. And throughout the lobby, the gentle tunes of a Yamaha Silent Piano play—a subtle touch that delivers distinct ambient energy—while a rotating lineup of evening programming, namely live music and DJs, further animates the space.

The lobby also houses a finely assembled collection of contemporary art by renowned artists including Cameron Welch, Alex Prager, Emil Lukas, Keith Boadwee, Marilyn Minter, Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, Octavio Abúndez, Tammy Rae Carland, Renee Phillips, and Alexa Guariglia. Spanning photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, the works explore themes of music, identity, performance, and everyday life, reflecting the city’s rich cultural history and creative spirit. Together, the collection creates a vibrant visual narrative that connects personal storytelling with broader artistic and historical references and underscores the hotel’s deep connection to art and sound.

REVAMPED GUEST ROOMS

The hotel’s 246 guest rooms, consisting of fifty-one one-bedroom suites, two penthouses, and the signature Hutton Suite, have been reenvisioned to tune out distraction and dial-in on creativity.

Inspired by an Artist’s Abode defined by comfort, luxury, and artistic flair, every detail was chosen for ease and to inspire, from custom furniture and lighting to intricate bathroom tilework, wood flooring, and personally selected artwork, ephemera, and found objects—making no two rooms alike.

For a more decadent stay, the Hutton offers two expansive penthouse suites featuring spacious balconies and the 2-story Hutton Suite, which is the hotel’s crown jewel and Nashville’s largest suite—a luxurious, light-filled sanctuary where indulgence meets soulful craftsmanship. At over 3,000 square feet, the suite consists of three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a full kitchen, ambient fireplace, writing nook, and private entrances.

The Hutton Hotel sets itself apart with in-room amenities tailored for experience-driven travelers, from mini bars showcasing top local vendors, to being the only property in the city with Dyson Supersonic hair dryers. Each room also boasts musical touchpoints for guests to enjoy such as Marshall Action III Bluetooth speakers, Fender guitars, and record players with curated albums. Even four-legged guests are treated like rockstars, with pet amenities like plush beds, locally sourced treats, bandanas, leashes, and more, because muses come in all forms.

NOSTALGIC AMERICANA AT EVELYN’S

The property's new flagship restaurant, Evelyn’s, is a taste-forward tribute to classic American hospitality, named in honor of Evelyn Sharp. Designed by AvroKO, the dining room blends mid-century modern elegance with fine art reminiscent of Sharp’s personal collection, with works by Sarah Awad, Mason Saltarrelli, and Gonzalo Lebrija, establishing an ambiance that is well-appointed and inviting.

The menu draws inspiration from nostalgic favorites, reinterpreting them with seasonal ingredients and inventive twists. Executive Chef Lucas Fleming, who joined in late 2025, has shaped thoughtfully crafted dishes including Bucatini with Lobster and Picante Tomato Butter, Prime NY Strip with Crispy Fries and Béarnaise, and Lamb Shank with Anson Mills Polenta, Pickled Squash Salad, and Lamb Jus.

With two intimate private dining rooms, The Parlour and The Drawing Room, an outdoor terrace ideal for al fresco moments, and warm, attentive service throughout breakfast, brunch, and dinner, Evelyn's delivers approachable distinction for every occasion.

THE MEET & GREET

The upgraded meeting and event space spans over 20,000 square feet of flexible venues from stylish boardrooms and sunlit salons to an expansive ballroom, all of which can hold events of up to 1,500 people. Whether hosting an intimate brainstorm session or a show-stopping celebration, each area is composed to reflect the hotel’s hallmark blend of sophistication and edge. Best-in-class technology, customizable layouts, and a dedicated events team are available to ensure every detail is handled with care.
