Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son by The Unlimited Collection Unveils Sky Vista, A Brand-new Resort Tower Anchored in Wellness
The Ascott Limited (Ascott) today announces the opening of Sky Vista on 24 April 2026, marking the second and final phase of Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son by The Unlimited Collection. Inspired by the “Grand Ocean Voyage”, Sky Vista draws on the romance of seafaring discovery to deliver a premium wellness experience rooted in local culture, completing Lasong’s vision of a landmark resort destination on Vietnam’s northern coast.
The 190-room Sky Vista is designed for families, couples and corporate groups, complementing the operating Ocean Vista wing, which launched in mid-2025 with 68 boutique rooms and 20 exclusive villas with private pools. Together, Ocean Vista and Sky Vista complete a full-spectrum resort experience, cementing Sam Son’s place as a destination on Vietnam’s luxury travel map.
Accommodation
Sky Vista offers two room categories: the Grand Deluxe (24–29m²), ideal for couples and intimate getaways, and the spacious Executive Suite (39–52m²), well-suited for families. Each room features a private balcony overlooking the sea or city, natural lighting and considered wellness touches throughout.
Wellness and Recreation
At the heart of Sky Vista’s wellness offering is an authentic jjimjilbang (traditional Korean bathhouse and spa), delivering a full spectrum of restorative experiences. Guests are invited to embark on a transformative 14-step journey that harmonises hydrotherapy and thermotherapy – beginning with hot and cold soaking pools to stimulate circulation, and progressing through nine specialised sauna rooms, including Ganbanyoku stone therapy, yellow clay, Himalayan salt and Hinoki oxygen rooms.
Complementing the jjimjilbang, La Bông Spa offers a full range of massages, skincare and body treatments. In partnership with Vietnamese vegan beauty brand Cocoon, the spa uses products crafted from natural Vietnamese ingredients, underscoring a deep commitment to sustainable wellness. A four-season swimming pool rounds out the wellness experience, ensuring guests can unwind year-round, regardless of the weather.
Dining and Entertainment
Sky Vista’s dining offer spans two distinct restaurant concepts and a pair of social venues. The Deck Sam Son Restaurant serves international cuisine alongside traditional Vietnamese specialties, while Lá Lúa Restaurant explores plant-based dining through a Vietnamese-Korean lens – a fresh and distinctive pairing for the region. The U-Bar and Pool Bar complete the picture, offering relaxed settings for guests to gather over drinks at any hour.
About Sam Son
Situated in Thanh Hoa Province, Sam Son is a coastal destination 3–4 hours by car from Hanoi — close enough for a weekend escape and compelling enough for a longer stay. The area carries a rich cultural heritage shaped by its fishing communities and coastal traditions, with seafood that draws visitors as much as its beaches. For Lasong, Sam Son is not just a location, it is the living context that informs everything from the resort’s culinary philosophy to its wellness programming.
About Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son by The Unlimited Collection
Located at the confluence of the Ma River and Sam Son Beach, Lasong Hotel & Villas Sam Son is part of The Unlimited Collection — a brand that seeks out the bohemian soul of cultural enclaves, drawing guests into vibrant neighbourhoods alive with local art, food, music and tradition. At Lasong, that spirit finds expression in Sam Son’s coastal heritage, fishing culture and Vietnamese-Korean wellness philosophy.
Operated by The Ascott Limited, the resort brings together 68 boutique hotel rooms, 20 private villas with garden pools and 190 hotel rooms within the Sky Vista tower. Its five-star wellness complex centres on an authentic 14-step Korean jjimjilbang, four-season swimming pool and steam therapies, while its dining portfolio spans rustic coastal flavours at Ca Com Restaurant, international cuisine at The Deck Sam Son and plant-based dining at Lá Lúa Restaurant. The U-Bar, Pool Bar and a 430m² Harbour Ballroom round out a resort designed to serve every occasion, from quiet retreats to large-scale gatherings.
