The Vineyard Hotel

The Vineyard, Berkshire Re-Opens Its Doors in a New Era of Contemporary Countryside Luxury

Monogram Collective announces the re-opening of the highly anticipated third hotel to its portfolio, The Vineyard in Berkshire. Re-opening its doors at the end of 2026, following an extensive multi-million pound renovation, The Vineyard has been imbued with a renewed spirit under Monogram Collective, with a timeless invitation for guests to gather, savour, and celebrate. Transformed as a contemporary countryside retreat, the property enters a new era where revelry becomes ritual and every occasion is an opportunity to raise a glass.

Set within the Berkshire countryside, The Vineyard has been thoughtfully reimagined through a phased transformation that preserves its celebrated legacy while introducing a refined expression of modern luxury. Long recognised as one of England’s most distinguished food and wine destinations as a proud member of Relais and Chateaux and Pride of Britain Hotels, it evolves into a place defined by connection and experience, where considered design, exceptional hospitality and a deep sense of place come together in a destination designed with the modern traveller in mind.

November 2026: The Beginning of a New Legacy

The first chapter of this transformation will be revealed in November 2026, introducing a fully refurbished collection of spaces dedicated to food, drink and accommodation. The re-opening introduces 41 bedrooms and suites alongside a signature gastronomic restaurant, a contemporary brasserie, a bar and terrace, Wine Shop and Tasting Room, and Chocolate Kitchen. Four private event spaces for up to 50 guests further establish the hotel as a setting for meaningful gatherings, complemented by one of England’s most celebrated wine collections.

The hotel’s bedrooms and suites have been fully refurbished as calm, contemporary retreats shaped by comfort and ease. Soft textures, natural tones and considered detailing create a sense of quiet sophistication, complemented by bespoke in-room chocolates, luxury toiletries and refined in room amenities.

A New Expression of Culinary Excellence

At the heart of The Vineyard is a philosophy that brings together exceptional food and world-class wine. Under Executive Head Chef Tom Scade, the culinary offering spans relaxed seasonal brasserie dining and a refined gastronomic experience, with each menu shaped by seasonality, provenance and creativity. Director of Wine & Beverage Romain Bourger continues to curate an acclaimed cellar, reinforcing The Vineyard’s reputation as a leading wine destination.

The Brasserie serves as the social heart of the hotel, offering approachable yet elevated dining, while the signature Gastronomic Restaurant presents a more immersive culinary journey with expertly paired wines. Beyond the restaurants, guests can explore the Wine Shop and Cellar, discover rare vintages with expert sommeliers, or experience the craft of chocolate-making through tastings and workshops in the Chocolate Kitchen.

Spring 2027: A Journey of Wellness and Discovery Continues

Bringing the total room count to 59 keys, the transformation continues in Spring 2027 with 18 additional bedrooms and suites, alongside a boutique spa designed for restoration and renewal. Featuring treatment rooms, an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor spa garden, manicure and pedicure stations, and a 24-hour gym, the spa introduces a new dimension of countryside wellbeing.

The hotel will also unveil four dedicated event spaces for private dining, meetings and celebrations, including The Foley Suite with natural daylight, private terrace and state-of-the-art AV capabilities.

With its re-opening, The Vineyard marks a defining moment for Monogram Collective, blending food, wine, wellness and hospitality into a modern expression of luxury rooted in generosity, craft and experience.

The Vineyard joins the Monogram Collective portfolio of properties, also consisting of Pine Trees in the Scottish town of Pitlochry and Meldrum House in Aberdeenshire, both unique and effortlessly luxurious in their own right.
