Titiya Chooto has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai

Born and raised in Thailand, Ms. Chooto brings more than 25 years of extensive international hotel experience to this new posting, and will be responsible for Four Seasons Tented Camp, Golden Triangle in addition to Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai. She returns to Chiang Mai, where she previously held the position of Resort Manager, after a highly successful stint at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok as Hotel Manager. Ms Chooto is the only female general manager with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in the Asia Pacific region, and is the first Thai national to hold such a position within the company. Ms. Chooto developed a passion for hotels early on in her career in Bangkok, but always desired to travel and work abroad. She held a number of positions in London and Moscow, but it was during her time in the UK that she developed a passion for English Premier League football, which was to influence her management and leadership style throughout her career. Says Ms. Chooto, “I followed one particularly successful team and would see how all of the players worked together for the same goal, facing different challenges, under the leadership of one person. I wanted to bring this same team spirit to my own team, with everyone working together to overcome challenges, striving for the same goal and to be the best.” Chooto to oversee both Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand.
