Mr. Marc Denton has been appointed the General Manager of The Oberoi, Mauritius, The Oberoi Group’s luxury resort in Turtle Bay on the North-West coast of the island. Set in 20 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens with six hundred metres of magnificent oceanfront and turquoise lagoon, The Oberoi, Mauritius has been ranked the best hotel in the Indian Ocean by the readers in the 2010 Ultratravel awards. Mr. Denton’s experience in the hospitality industry spans across United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Mauritius and Bora Bora. Most recently, Mr. Denton was the General Manager of The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur in Rajasthan India. Prior to this position in India, Mr. Denton served as the General Manager of The Oberoi Group’s luxury resort in Indonesia, The Oberoi, Lombok, and subsequently, The Oberoi, Bali.
