Paula was previously the Regional Director of Sales in Hawaii for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and is a seasoned veteran in the luxury hospitality business, bringing a wealth of experience and industry expertise to the hotel.
In her former position as Regional Director of Sales in Hawaii, Paula was responsible for overseeing all Starwood properties in the region, which includes eleven properties among The St. Regis, Luxury Collection, Westin, Starwood Vacation Ownership and Sheraton brands. She was charged with maximizing the revenue for each property in addition to managing marketing, sales training, public relations and promotional activities for the region.
Prior to this position, Paula was the Director of Sales & Marketing and Resident Manager at Orient-Express Hotels in Portugal and New Orleans. Before her time at Orient-Express, Paula acted as Director of Groups Sales for Starwood Hotels & Resort’s Hawaii and Southern California region and was shortly promoted to the Director of Sales and Marketing for the regions. In this role, Paula was awarded Sales Leader of the Year for Starwood North America as well as Sales Leader of the Year for Starwood Hawaii & French Polynesia. Paula has both AAA Five Diamond and Mobil Five Star experience and is an ideal fit for The St. Regis New York.
Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
