German national, Sven Isberg, with almost 30 years experience, will lead the team to open The Langham, Shenzhen. His international career has spanned Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. Most recently, Sven has spent 7 years in China as a General Manager where he gained extensive pre-opening experience, rebranding and regional cluster management experience. Scheduled to open in 2012, The Langham, Shenzhen is in the Futian district of Shenzhen which is located in the Pearl River Delta Special Economic Zone, home to one of China’s key ports and is a gateway city into the region. The Langham, Shenzhen, will feature 352 luxuriously elegant guestrooms and suites, many of which will enjoy stunning views of Shenzhen Bay. Among the services The Langham guests can expect will be a grand two-storey Langham Club lounge offering classic butler service and T’ang Court, a signature Cantonese restaurant with six private rooms and sibling of its two-Michelin star sister in Hong Kong.
