Marc de Beer has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing

With an international career spanning 20 years, de Beer has extensive hotel management experience in Europe, the United States, United Kingdom and the Middle East. Prior to taking on his new role at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, he held the position of General Manager at the Conrad Brussels.Having worked with Hilton Worldwide for over seven years, de Beer was the Director of Operations at Jeddah Hilton and was responsible for the opening of Qasr Al Sharq, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2006 which became the first international managed property under Hilton’s top luxury brand. During his tenure, the hotel won numerous awards such as Best New Hotel of the Year in the Deepa Hotel Awards 2007. In 2000, de Beer had his first stint in China as Food and Beverage Manager in Shanghai before moving on to become Operations Manager in Beijing.
