Paul Pusateri was recently named chief operating officer of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
Pusateri is a veteran of properties such as the Venetian and Palazzo and the Palms -- where former Hard Rock president Joe Magliarditi is now the president.
Pusateri left the Palms as president in June.
"I am pleased to welcome Paul to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino family," Bill Warner, president of Warner Gaming and manager of the Hard Rock Las Vegas resort, said in a statement. "Paul's exemplary leadership skills, forward-thinking approach and comprehensive gaming background will be a fundamental driving force behind the property's ongoing success."
Pusateri will oversee property-wide operations at the 1,500-room Hard Rock and "identify new opportunities and generate and implement creative strategies for the property," the company said in a statement.
