A sixteen-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, he joins the celebrated property from Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. A native of England, Trodd comes to Beverly Wilshire from Seattle where he opened the Hotel in November 2008. Along with a strong management team, he led the Hotel to become the city’s undisputed market leader and gained widespread acclaim from publications such as Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler. Prior to Seattle, Trodd was the Hotel manager at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. He began his Four Seasons career as a catering manager at Four Seasons Hotel London, and was subsequently promoted to Director of Sales in 1997. Over his tenure with the company, he has additionally opened new hotels in Palo Alto, California, and Dublin, Ireland, and he was also involved in the launch of the first Four Seasons country house hotel in Britain, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. During his time with Four Seasons, he has guided two hotels to receive the AAA Five Diamond Award – at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto and Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
