Marco Saxer has been appointed the General Manager of Swissôtel Kolkata, the internationally renowned Swiss hospitality group’s maiden property in India.
He brings with him over 20 years of experience from international hotel chains across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Marco Saxer’s career began with the Carlton Hotel, Singapore followed by various positions in Sales, F & B and Finance with Radisson and Holiday Inn. Between 2001 and 2010 he was the General Manager of the Amari Atrium Hotel in Bangkok followed by the position of General Manager at Mövenpick Hotel in Kuwait. M. Saxer is a graduate from the Hotel Management School in Lausanne (EHL) and holds a diploma in Strategic Management from Cornell University NY, USA.
