Bringing a plethora of hospitality and customer service experience, Mary Jo “MJ’ Baird has been appointed as the new catering and sales manager of River Terrace Inn and Restaurant Cuvée, located in the heart of Downtown Napa. With perfect timing for the bustling holiday party planning and the upcoming 2012 wedding season, MJ has hit the ground running in her new position. “Noble House and River Terrace Inn are pleased to have such a talented sales and catering manager on our team,” said Jeff Whitehead, River Terrace Inn general manager. “In her first few weeks, she is already impressing clients with her attention to detail and passion for creating the perfect event.” With a family heritage of Spanish winemakers and armed with a certificate from the United States Sommelier Association, MJ is a natural fit for Wine Country. The California native’s past experience includes working as the wedding specialist for the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, catering manager for Marriott Laguna Cliffs Resort Dana Point and event manager for the San Diego Convention Center.
