Michele Meoni has been named General Manager at Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan

Swiss-Belhotel International has appointed Mr. Michele Meoni as General Manager of Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan. A recently opened addition to the rapidly growing number of hotels, resorts and serviced apartments managed and operated by Swiss-Belhotel International, Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan is a 228 room, 4-star international hotel ideally situated in the heart of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Meoni has held senior management positions in leading hotels and resorts in London, Edinburgh and Kenilworth (UK), Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt), Parma (Italy) and Bucharest (Romania). He holds a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investment & Asset Management from eCornell University, a PDP in High Performance Financial Management from Cornell Nanyang Institute, Singapore and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Westminster University, London. Mr. Meoni earned his MBA in Business Administration at Cass Business School of City University, London, and is the winner of a number of awards including, Best Hotel Manager of the Year 2007 (House of Guides, Bucharest, Romania), and Most Admired Hospitality Leader 2008 (Bucharest Business Week).
