Hotel specialist Andrew Theobold has joined a rapidly expanding UK-wide hotel operation and management group as it plans further growth in 2012.
Legacy Hotels and Resorts has established itself as a specialist in turning round under-performing hotels since its formation in 2005 and now has more than 2,000 bedrooms in over 30 properties.
Andrew has left his position as a partner with Knight Frank’s hotels team where he has been responsible for overseeing hotel brokerage in the regions for the last 12 years to establish IHCA Limited.
He said he felt it was the ideal time to set up his own independent hotel consultancy business despite the present economic difficulties.
One of his first client’s is Legacy Hotels and Resorts, where he has been appointed an associate director.
