Jeff Wardlaw has been appointed as General Manager at The Hotel Contessa

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Jeff Wardlaw general manager for Hotel Contessa , located on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s chief operating officer, made the announcement. Jeff Wardlaw was most recently Benchmark’s acting general manager for The Heldrich Hotel and Conference Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Prior to this he served as director of rooms for the company’s Eaglewood Resort & Spa, located near Chicago, where he began employment as front office manager. Wardlaw served in the same position for Benchmark’s Chaminade Resort & Spa of Santa Cruz, California. He previously held the position of general manager for Hotel Arista near Chicago, the first LEED certified hotel in Illinois. Mr. Wardlaw attended Southwest Texas State University. He has relocated to San Antonio.
