Mr. Peter Caprez, Cluster General Manager of JW Marriott Bangkok, Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok and Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa, has appointed Ms. Sanne Emborg as the new General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok. Sanne joined Marriott International in 2004 as Resident Manager of the Marriott Executive Apartments, Dubai Creek, where she was later also appointed to the position of General Manager, winning the award of "Finance Excellence – Flow Through Management" in the process. Whilst in Dubai, Sanne was heavily involved in the Dubai Business Council, coordinating their annual charity events, and she continued this passion for community service during her later appointments in India. Sanne has been transferred to Asia Pacific from, first, as pre-opening General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon, and in 2009 as the General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, leading in business excellence with achieving “Best Business Hotel” for two consecutive years.
