Hotel management and development company, Sanguine Hospitality, has appointed Mark Davies as its new general manager for Hotel Indigo Birmingham. Davies (40) will lead the 52-bedroom upscale hotel and its skyline Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant at The Cube. He joins from Restaurant Associates, the executive dining arm of Compass Group, where he was general services manager. He previously spent four years as general manager at Hotel du Vin Birmingham. Before that he was general manager at Malmaison Belfast and deputy general manager at Malmaison Manchester.
