As Area General Manager, he will continue to drive Regal’s international business development. With a thorough understanding of operations and marketing of world class hotels, Mr. Girard aims to further strengthen the Regal Airport Hotel’s position as the best Airport Hotel in the world. Born on the Mediterranean Island of Malta, Mr. Girard has over 45 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Regal Hotels International, he had spent 18 years with Marco Polo Hotels, during which he held the positions of General Manager of the Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel; Vice President Marketing & Operations for the Group and Area Director for Marco Polo’s three Hong Kong properties.
