With its recent renewal of the Hotel Management Contract, LHR Hospitality Management is pleased to announce Mr. Mark Zovic as the General Manager of the historic Hotel Utica in Utica, New York.
Mr. Zovic comes to the Hotel Utica with an extensive hotel management and food and beverage background. “His knowledge of the industry and what it takes to run a first class hotel is second to none,” remarked Executive Vice President and COO, Joel C. Cairy. Mr. Zovic is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hotel and will play a key role in its upcoming Centennial celebrations. The hotel, opened in 1912, features 112 guestrooms all featuring refrigerators and microwaves, complimentary wireless internet, 1912 Restaurant and Bar, and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space. It’s just minutes to Erie Canal State Park and NYS Barge Canal and the Adirondack Mountains. The Hotel, in its storied past has played host to Amelia Earhart, Presidents Roosevelt and Taft, Hopalong Cassidy, Johnny Cash, Mickey Mantle, Judy Garland, Rita Hayworth, just to name a few.
