Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands has announced the appointment of Anne Renken, CMM as Sales Manager. Renken is responsible for group sales northeast - including Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She is based in Connecticut. Renken joins Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa following a brief run as a sales consultant, providing expertise and support to U.S. companies on meeting management and strategic account planning for international development. Her consulting position followed five years garnering a distinguished record of achievement as Director of Partnership Sales/Intermediary Sales for Sawgrass Golf Resort and Spa in Ponte Verde Beach, Florida. Previously, Renken spent a decade managing high-profile accounts in the northeast as a National Accounts Regional Director for Marriott International. She was Director of northeast National Sales for Renaissance Hotels and Resorts and led pre-opening efforts for Trumbull Marriott International in Trumbull, Connecticut. Renken began her career in 1988 as Director of National Sales for Stouffer Hotels and Resorts.
