Rohit is acclaimed for creating innovative culinary experiences at several award-winning establishments and is a recipient of various awards. His professional accolades include helping win the Times Food Guide Awards for 2010, 2011, 2012 for Spectra (multi-cuisine), Diya (Indian) and Zanotta (Italian) restaurants as well as Rubicon Bar at the Leela Kempinski Hotel. Earlier in 2007 and 2008, restaurant 360 at The Oberoi New Delhi won the Times Food Guide Award under his culinary supervision. Rohit holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Mumbai-based Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCT&AN), popularly known as Dadar Catering College. In fact, his culinary talent came to the fore as a student way back in 1996, when the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology adjudged him as the championship winner of Student Chef's competition.
