Treffers comes to The Westin from the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa, a 500 plus-room, AAA Four Diamond Resort in Chandler, Arizona, where he most recently served as national sales manager. As a result of the exceptional managerial skills he exhibited while supervising a guest service staff of 15 at this unique resort and spa located on the Gila River Indian Community, he quickly moved into a junior sales manager role and was considered by upper management as a rising star at the property. Treffers has been with Starwood since 2006 and had completed the Starwood Associate Development Program prior to his promotion. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in communications and tourism.
