Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort has announce the appointment of Mr. Stephen Morahan as General Manager. In his new role Stephen will assume overall responsibility for the resort’s operation, including directing all business functions of this stunning 5-star luxurious resort by the Kok River A native Australian and a proven hotelier with extensive experience in Hotel Operations, Stephen’s career has incorporated both luxury and select service properties. He has an excellent record of delivering results coupled with achieving the highest quality product and service levels. Over his almost 20 years of career in the hospitality industry, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience working with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt and the Intercontinental Hotel Group through to smaller boutique organisations. Prior to joining Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort, Stephen held the position of Executive Assistant Manager of the Starwood owned and flagship property, Sheraton on the Park in Sydney Australia and more recently Hotel Manager of the Westin Siray Bay, Phuket, Thailand.
