Bill Farrell has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Place Nashville/Downtown

White Lodging Services has named Bill Farrell as Hyatt Place Nashville/Downtown's general manager, according to a news release. Farrell was previously the general manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown/Old Market in Omaha, Neb., and has served in six general manager positions with White Lodging after joining the company in 2001 as a front desk manager. The 255-room Hyatt hotel, owned by affiliates of Host Hotels & Resorts and White Lodging, is slated to open in the fourth quarter of the year.

Bill Farrell is an alumnus of Purdue University .
