In Sydney Erkin Aytekin has been made the general manager at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth while in Melbourne Llewellyn Wyeth has moved into the general manager's role at Novotel Melbourne St Kilda that was vacated by Aytekin. Aytekin has worked with Accor since 1997 and has held several leadership positions within the company. His experience includes senior roles in both hotel operations and sales and marketing. He was previously national marketing manager of Accor in 2005 and was named general manager of the year in 2011 by the Accommodation Association of Australia. He's no stranger to the Sofitel Luxury Hotels brand - he worked as acting general manager at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in 2008.
