Ryan Mikkelson has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Hilton Lake Taupo

With an extensive background in hospitality and nine years within Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Ryan has been appointment as Hotel Manager for Hilton Lake Taupo after holding the position of Director of Business Development for Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo since November 2010. Ryan's 20-year hospitality career has seen him progress through the ranks of the kitchen to Head Chef roles in both New Zealand and the U.K. On his return to NZ in 2004, Ryan joined Hilton Auckland and since that time has taken various leadership roles at Hilton Auckland including Reservations Manager, Revenue Manager and most recently Director of Business Development for both Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo. Ryan has been instrumental in the continued commercial success of both hotels. Ryan will continue to report to Roger Brantsma, general manager for both Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo, and will be responsible for the operation of the Taupo property.
