Shingi Rukuni was recently introduced as General Manager at Sonesta ES Suites Charlotte. Her leadership will help to guide the hotel through the ongoing repositioning process and oversee the hotel’s renovation work planned for later this year. With almost 10 years of experience in hospitality, most recently as task force general manager for The Generation Companies, Rukuni began her career as an operations manager with Candlewood Suites. Her hospitality management experience includes time as an opening manager, general manager and operations manager for Candlewood Suites in Rocky Mount, NC, Augusta, GA, Lake Mary and Ft. Myers, FL.
