Frederick de Marcy Chelin has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Outrigger Mauritius Resort

Darren Edmonstone, Outrigger Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, has announced the appointment of Frederick de Marcy Chelin as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Outrigger Mauritius Resort and Spa. The new Outrigger property is scheduled to open in the Indian Ocean in December 2013. Mr de Marcy Chelin's appointment is effective from 27 August 2013. Mr de Mary Chelin has over eight years' hospitality experience in Mauritius. For the last four years he has worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts as Director of Corporate and Group Sales, responsible for three properties in Mauritius: Le Meridien Ile Maurice, The Westin Turtle Bay, Mauritius, and The St Regis Mauritius Resort. Prior to that he was with two destination management companies in Mauritius, an independent sovereign state located about 2,000 kms east of Africa in the Indian Ocean.
