Stefan Marczinkowski has been appointed as Director at InterCityHotel Magdeburg

There will be a new challenge for Stefan Marczinkowski from September 2013 when he takes over as Director of the InterCityHotel Magdeburg. The 47-year old Rooms Division Manager will be making the move from the InterCityHotel Frankfurt Airport to the banks of the River Elbe in order to start his new role. Stefan Marczinkowski was a lateral entrant to the hotel business. Having completed training as a pastry cook, he began work as a Night Auditor at the InterCityHotel Wuppertal in 1996 in order to supplement his studies. In 2001, he decided to join the hotel trade full-time and initially progressed up the ladder from Deputy Head of Reception to Head of Reception at the InterCityHotel Wuppertal. In 2004, he moved to the InterCityHotel Frankfurt Airport, where he has held the position of Rooms Division Manager ever since. At the InterCityHotel Magdeburg, Stefan Marczinkowski will be taking over from the present incumbent Oliver Rudnicki.
