A graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management, Sharma started his Hyatt innings with the Grand Hyatt in Delhi as Director of Food & Beverage. His next destination was Hyatt Regency Kolkata as Director of Operations, owing to his passion for perfection and the exemplary people management skills. In 2009, Sharma was assigned the challenging and exciting responsibility of opening Hyatt Regency Chennai, Hyatt International’s first foray into South India. In his new role as Area Director for Bengaluru, Chennai, Hampi, Kathmandu and Kolkata, Sharma shall be responsible for the Hyatt Hotels in these destinations along with his current role as General Manager, Hyatt Regency Chennai.
