Simon Amos has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage at Hilton Waikoloa Village

Amos has more than 20 years in the hotel industry and for the past five years was the director of operations for Hilton Beijing. Prior to his position as director of operations, he was the food and beverage manager at Hilton Beijing where he oversaw the turnover of 55 million RMB, and the operation of seven dining outlets, two ballrooms, nine meeting rooms and catering. Beginning as a food and beverage trainee at The Ritz London, Amos worked his way up through several positions until he found his home at London Hilton on Park Lane as assistant food and beverage manager. Amos managed a team of 140 people and helped the department thrive as it had an annual turnover of $20 million.
