Petrinka Kortmann has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort

Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Petrinka Kortmann director of human resources for the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort, Curacao. Philippe Eversdijk, Benchmark's general manager at the resort, made the announcement. Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort is a Benchmark Resort® located on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Petrinka Kortmann was previously regional human resources director EMEA for Teleplan International. Prior to this appointment she served in senior human resource management positions for Tyco International, Biogen Idec and Dell. Ms. Kortmann brings to her new role 15 years of cross-border human resources experience, with specialties in acquisition and management, cross-cultural awareness, performance management and employee communications, as well as human resource transformation. She studied International Human Resources Management in Belgium, as well as Dutch Laws. Ms. Kortmann has lived and worked in Europe and Africa, and is joining her family already living on Curacao.
