Jamal Hussain has been appointed as General Manager at Regent Bali

Mr. Hussain comes to the Regent Bali from Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, where he held senior positions in Maldives, Bintan, Singapore and Bali. Mr. Hussain’s resume includes tenures with prestigious properties located in Europe and Asia, and brings with him a wealth of 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Some of these properties include: Hilton Vienna, Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Grand Hyatt Taipei, Peninsula Hong Kong, privately owned Palace of The Golden Horses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Banyan Tree properties in Maldives, Bintan and Bali. Mr. Hussain graduated with a diploma in tourism & hotel management from Schloss Klesheim in Salzburg, Austria, and started his career in the hospitality industry with Hilton Vienna, Austria. Having begun his career in food and beverage, Mr. Hussain worked his way up to the position of general manager at Palace of the Golden Horses, Malaysia in 1997.
