Dorian B. Rommel has been appointed as General Manager at Shangri-La Dalian

Dorian B. Rommel
A German national born in Monte Carlo, Mr. Rommel grew up in the south of France and is fluent in English, French and German. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Rommel worked at Kempinski Hotel, Yinchuan as general manager. His 20-year experience spans several five-star international hotel groups from Europe to Asia and the United States before he arrived in China. Mr. Rommel, an EMBA graduate, started his illustrious career as a waiter at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo in 1994. He climbed the ranks to become director of food and beverage in the United States, director of operations in Singapore and hotel manager in Switzerland before arriving in Mainland China in 2011 as general manager.
