Marc Pichot-Moise has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Sofitel New York

Marc Pichot-Moise
Before his move to New York in November, Pichot-Moïse spent six years in Edinburgh, Scotland, most recently as general manager of the Novotel Edinburgh Centre, and previously as general manager of the Mercure Edinburgh Point Hotel. His past experience also includes managerial posts at Novotel Nottingham, Holiday Inn Thoiry Geneva Airport, Lux Island Resort on Reunion Island, and Sofitel Minneapolis. Pichot-Moïse launched his career in his native France with the Mercure hotel brand serving as food and beverage manager of Grand Hotel Mercure Country Club in 1998 and, before that, at Mercure Courchevel from 1996 to 1997. A graduate of Lycée Hotelier de Chamalieres, Pichot-Moïse has been active in community and industry organizations throughout his career. In recent years, his affiliations have included the Edinburgh Hospitality Association, French Film Festival, French Edinburgh Association, and East Lothian Hospitality & Tourism Academy. He was also a member of the food and beverage steering group for Novotel U.K.
