Mr Hormigo began his career with Kempinski 15 years ago as Credit Controller at Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona , followed by an assignment at Kempinski Hotel Giardino di Costanza Sicily where he was appointed General Manager, as well as Director of Finance. He was then transferred to China in January 2013, where he played a crucial role as Hotel Manager at the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, where his expertise ensured a smooth operational take-over. Returning to Europe, Mr Hormigo supported the Kempinski Hotel Nikolskaya in Moscow as Hotel Manager during the soft-opening period before taking over the helm of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz. Multi-lingual, mastering English and Italian in addition to his Spanish mother-tongue, Mr Hormigo holds a Global MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Malaga.
