Tulio HochkoepplerThe 19-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is no stranger to the region: he was the Hotel’s Director of Rooms 12 years ago, and also worked at sister property Four Seasons Resort Carmelo. Most recently, he was General Manager of the award winning Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa.A graduate of the prestigious Cornell University hospitality program in New York state, Hochkoeppler began his Four Seasons career in 1995 in New York City before moving back to his hometown of Los Angeles, California. By 2002, he was part of the team that raised the flag ofFour Seasons in Buenos Aires for the first time as the Hotel was converted from another brand. It was during this time that he became engaged to his now wife Dianna, and they travelled the world together as he took positions in Miami, San Francisco and the Maldives, where he was also responsible for the company’s floating property, Four Seasons Explorer. He succeeds Rebeca Selley-Morales, who lead the team for three years, including a year-long, USD 49 million renovation that included the debut of two new restaurants and bars.
