Oriol Montal has been appointed general manager of the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa. A Spanish national, Montal brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role. He served as GM of resorts in Portugal and Tenerife before relocating to Asia in 2011 as GM of the Ritz-Carlton Osaka.

Oriol Montal is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 1994.
