Depesh Seth has been appointed as General Manager at Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel

After the launch of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, he led the newly opened hotel into becoming a major location in the zone. Prior to his appointment, Depesh was general manager for Sheraton Xi’an Hotel where he has led his team to revitalise the classic Sheraton hotel to be a preferred international hotel. Originally from Malaysia, Depesh has been with Starwood since 1997 and relocated to China in 2005 when he joined Sheraton Chengdu Hotel. He is credited leading the hotel through the Sichuan earthquake and handling the crisis in a professional manner.
