Yves Mudry has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel So Bangkok

Yves Mudry
Immediately after graduating from the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne, Yves moved to Southeast Asia in 1997. To date, he has accrued more than 16 years of hospitality experience with Le Méridien hotels in Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, 10 of which were in a General Manager capacity. His most recent posting in Asia was at Le Méridien Saigon as pre-opening General Manager. While this is his first General Manager posting in Bangkok, Yves is no stranger to Thailand, having done previous stints in the Thai capital, Koh Samui, and Chiang Mai, including a role as opening General Manager of Le Méridien Chiang Mai. His illustrious professional experience spans five star hospitality and service industry management, and Yves has gained solid experience in all aspects, including brand re-launches and project development management, from construction to handover. A Swiss national, Yves is fluent in French and English, competent in German. He also has working knowledge of Thai and Bahasa Indonesian.
