A Melbourne landmark since 1974, Hilton on the Park-Melbourne welcomes the appointment of Andrew Nisbet as its new General Manager. In the role, Andrew will manage the 419-room hotel including 2,200m2 of innovative event space, three food and beverage outlets and an eforea: spa at Hilton facility. He brings 16 years of Hilton management experience, most recently as General Manager at Hilton Queenstown and Kawarau Hotel where he spent three years. Prior to this, Andrew was based at Hilton Brisbane as Director of Operations which included a $13 million refurbishment. Commenting on the new role, Andrew said, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to drive Australia’s first Hilton hotel forward and to work with team members to build on the reputation for quality and service.” The appointment of a new General Manager reaffirms Hilton Worldwide’s presence and commitment to Melbourne as a key Australian market.
